Family-friendly rental houses close to the Sandbanks Park offer privacy, economy and a homey atmosphere. With sofa beds, each will sleep at least ten people, so we find that two families will often choose to rent one in order to share fun, fellowship, and of course, costs. We have tried to make each house inviting and comfortable, while at the same time making it as kid-proof as possible. In other words, no white upholstery, crystal chandeliers, or priceless antiques at Overhome Vacations! 
 

We are pleased to offer three fully furnished houses for weekly rental over the summer months, and for weekends and full weeks in the shoulder seasons. Each of these houses is located on or near County Road 12, which is the main route to the Sandbanks Provincial Park. Each is spacious on its own; many even larger family groups have rented Angus House, along with Poolside, in order to share the amenities of both.  

Each house comes with sheets provided, and with all the pots, pans, dishes and cutlery needed for you to prepare meals “at home”. Each has a gas barbecue, for which we supply the propane. Each has a television, VCR, telephone (restricted to local and incoming calls), washing machine, and small microwave, along with fridge and stove, coffeemaker, toaster, teakettle and so on. Each has a firepit in the back yard for late-night weinie roasts, marshmallow toasting, or simply enjoying the stars.

Off-Season 
In the winter, we are flexibility itself…we have rented for periods as short as a weekend, and for extended times as well. We have hosted movie crews when “Dieppe” and “Fly Away Home” were being filmed at the Sandbanks. Rates vary, depending on length of stay and size of group. Contact us for further information.
